Sailors have long struggled with the wear and tear to which sails are exposed when tacking and when coming into contact with rigging equipment and die accessories.

As a result, the life of sails is shortened, and they risk being torn to pieces when tacking.

The solution is a patented, low-cost product: SAILGUARD

SAILGUARD is a wheel with slots that can be opened and closed.

As a result, SAILGUARD can be installed on spinnerets, babystags and shrouds, even if these have a free end. The central hole measures 6.5 mm, but can be enlarged to 9 mm if required.

SAILGUARD's furling function allows sails to pass critical parts. This reduces wear and tear when tacking.
